In 2010, the Moon travelled to Svalbard in the Swedish Arctic. Along
with an international team of scientists, it travelled near the North
Pole where walruses, seals, polar bears, and even blue whales looked on
in admiration. Leonid Tishkov and his Private Moon care about preserving
the Arctic region’s unique environment and standing against its
exploitation for industrial purposes. |
